Never having been fans of the “subtle”, we’ve set out to create meads that are as bold, daring, and imaginative as the people in our lives who inspire us to embrace our artistic side.

All of our meads are made in small batches, using fresh, hand-picked fruit from local Michigan farms, whenever possible, and Michigan honey.

It all began in 2013, inside an Irish medieval castle, where mead was being served. Having since tried hundreds of meads, from dozens of meaderies, we were inspired to begin crafting our own. This dream of expressing our creative sides, along with our love of the natural world, has become our passion. We hope this comes through in every bottle of Grimsby Hollow mead.
