Drink Mead, Learn Things - Cornish Folklore: Cornwall to Michigan

Cornish storyteller Siân Esther Powell returns to Grimsby Hollow with a brand-new presentation! Siân will join us remotely to share a range of myths and legends from Cornwall, ending with the migration of the Cousin Jacks, who brought their folklore from home when they moved to Michigan to work the mines.

If you've attended one of her previous presentations or have listened to any of the incredible episodes of her Celtic Myths and Legends Podcast, you know we're in for a fantastically fun, engaging, and informative afternoon. You don't want to miss it!

About our Presenter:

Siân Esther Powell is Cornish storyteller and host of the Celtic Myths and Legends Podcast. She holds a MA in Celtic Studies from the University of Wales. She works at Wheal Martyn Museum, likes to sing shanties, and search for folkloric creatures in the woods.
