Join Military History Academy historian Jerry Berg as we travel back to the battlefields of America's Revolution to learn how the battles were fought, specifically through the perspectives of the various types of soldiers on the battlefield, their specific combat roles, and their equipment.

It will quickly become apparent how unprepared America was for combat and the struggles leaders like Washington and Steuben faced attempting to turn this country of frontiersmen into real troops. Soldier types like British regulars, grenadiers, and highlanders will be discussed alongside American militia and light infantry, and more, culminating in one of the most iconic battles of the war!
